Canadian officials say they can’t find the missing missing Canadian soldiers
CANADA — Canadian officials on Monday said they were not able to locate the missing Canadian army soldiers who were presumed dead for months in Afghanistan.
The government has said the missing soldiers were killed in a firefight with militants while guarding the provincial capital of Herat.
But Canadian officials have repeatedly said they have no evidence of their deaths.
The provincial government has not commented.
The missing soldiers, all of whom are women, were last seen by Afghan forces near the border with Pakistan.
They were later believed to have been killed in an Afghan army ambush.
